History

Kahlua's journey starts in the foothills of Mexico where the finest 100% Arabica coffee beans are grown.Only hand picked, high quality coffee beans are used to make Kahlua.The coffee beans are grown at an elevation between 900 and 1400 meters in this semi-tropical environment that is ideal for this crop.The beans are grown under the shade of trees, allowing the beans to ripen slowly without the use of pesticides. Ripe beans are hand-picked, screened to choose only the best quality beans, then washed and sun dried.
